Tata puts its best foot forward at Jo’burg show

Tata Motors has launched its Manza saloon and the Prima range of premium commercial vehicles at the Johannesburg International Motor Show 2011.

Tata Motors has launched its Manza saloon and the Prima range of premium commercial vehicles at the Johannesburg International Motor Show 2011. It has also displayed, for the first time, a wide range of other vehicles. In passenger vehicles, on display is the Tata Vista. Among commercial vehicles, the debutants include the Tata Venture, Super Ace, Xenon CNG, Xenon 2.2 L Cargo Box, Xenon 2.2 L Double Cab 4x4, Tata LPO 1623 CNG bus, the 65-seater, Tata LPO 1823 commuter bus, Tata Starbus Ultra range (also known as the Y1 Bus), V3TXF, 6X4 tractor from the Tata Novus range and the Tata LPTA 1623 4x4 truck.

P.M. Telang, managing director – India Operations, said, “The new Tata vehicles being introduced in South Africa will bolster our already significant portfolio in the country. These introductions benefit from our innovations and learnings from South Africa’s customers.”
