Talbros Auto bags Rs 175 forgings order from German luxury carmaker
The supply order, which spans a seven-year period, is expected to net the company total revenues of around Rs 175 crore. Talbros will be the Tier 2 vendor; supplies are slated to begin in June-July 2017.
Talbros Automotive Components, the flagship company of the Talbros Group, has received an order for supply of forgings to a German luxury carmaker. The company announced this in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange this morning.
The supply order, which spans a seven-year period, is expected to net the company total revenues of around Rs 175 crore. Talbros will be the Tier 2 vendor; supplies are slated to begin in June-July 2017.
Commenting on the new business, Anuj Talwar, joint managing director, Talbros Automotive Components, said: “The order is a huge validation of our technical capabilities and opens the door for many large customers for us. We are clearly focused on enhancing our internal efficiency and leverage on our technological knowhow to supply best-in-class products to our customers. We have begun the financial year on a positive note and backed by our manufacturing and technological capabilities, we expect the order momentum to continue for the rest of the year.”
