Steelbird launches face shield with speaker and mic
The company says the face shield has inbuilt hands free functions that allows the user to make and receive calls without touching the mobile phone.
Steelbird Helmets, one of the largest helmet makers in Asia has launched IGN-1 HF Static Face Shield, which comes with integrated speaker and mic, at Rs 1,879.
The company says the face shield has inbuilt hands free functions that allows the user to make and receive calls without touching the mobile phone, which might have many viruses on its screen and minimise the risk of Coronavirus spread.
Steelbird Helmets says the reason behind coming up with the new product was due to recent reports suggesting mobile phones might be one of the reasons for the spread of Coronavirus. As it is not possible to disinfect the screen of the mobile phones very frequently.
Rajeev Kapur, MD, Steelbird Group, "With the widespread of Coronavirus, we thought of coming with a product that gives 360 degree protection to people. We innovated IGN-1 HF Static Face Shield, which is a first of its kind revolutionary hands-free face shield. This face shield will not only help you to save yourself from coronavirus infection but you can also pick or receive a phone call and speak to the caller through the inbuilt battery-less speakers and microphone system. One can also enjoy music through the face shield. We plan to manufacture 100,000 units of IGN-1 HF Static Face Shield in next three months.
