Steelbird launches Blauer POD helmet at Rs 9,079
The company says the helmet the POD is made of fiberglass shell, which is a high-impact lightweight combo fibre shell.
Steelbird Hi-Tech India, one of Asia’s largest Helmet manufacturer has launched premium helmets christened ‘Blauer POD’, which it says is designed especially for added protection of the riders at prices starting Rs 9,079.
The company says the helmet the POD is made of fiberglass shell, which is a high-impact lightweight combo fibre shell. It boasts of balloon moulded process for shell making which makes in even more light, stronger and durable.
Rajeev Kapur, MD, Steelbird Helmets said: “Blauer POD is sure to be loved by the riders as it details and designing have highlighted the importance of comfort of the riders as it is extremely light weight and sturdy. This model is an amalgamation of style and world class safety standards. The helmets also have Dual certification of ECE 22.05 and IS:4151.”
The Blauer POD is an open-face helmet and on the inside it is made of material which is certified by the European regulatory authority to check and protect the environment from harmful chemicals. It features dual visor with inner sun shield hence allowing the riders to enjoy the ride with maximum comfort. The inner sun shield is available in clear and smoke. This model also has a quick release mechanism buckle. The helmets are available in monochrome colours like titanium and black, and also comes with two different graphic designs which are stripes and monochrome.
