November 9, 2012: Tata Nano has launched a special edition of the Nano to woo customers in the Diwali season. The special edition has new features, utilities and infotainment. Neeraj Garg, Vice President (Commercial), Passenger Cars Business Unit, “Tata Nano owners have given us valuable insights which continue to find their way into the products and solutions we provide. The Special Edition Nano is inspired by our young consumers who wish to make their own style statement.”
The LX and CX versions get new alloys and decals while in the interiors, the car gets two glove boxes, one on the passenger side and the other on the driver’s side. The audio system is with MP3, USB, Aux-in and front two door speakers. The special edition will be available at the same price as the regular car for a limited period.
