Tractor manufacturer Sonalika ITL has reported a 32 percent growth in its exports in November 2016 with shipments of 1,059 units compared to 800 in November 2015.

The company, which produces tractors ranging from 20hp to 120hp, says its export division has registered 20 percent growth in the eight-month April to November 2016 period, when it despatched 8,121 tractors to overseas markets compared to 6,739 units in the year-ago period.

In November this year, Sonalika ITL had participated at the EIMA International Show in Bologna, Italy, under its international brand Solis, where it unveiled the Solis Nova NX.

Commenting on the company’s export performance, Deepak Mittal, MD, Sonalika ITL, said, “We have made successful inroads into most developed tractor markets of the world and have added 700,000 customers to our company since inception. Seeing the interest evinced by many countries towards agricultural mechanisation, we firmly believe that the coming months will further fuel the growth in the export market.”
