Sonalika ITL sells 25,002 units in Q1 FY18, up 17.6%
Sonalika ITL strengthens its position by achieving 17.6 percent growth, exceeds the industry average.
India’s third largest tractor brand, Sonalika International Tractors, has reported global sales (domestic + exports) of 25,002 units, up by 17.6 percent growth for the same quarter last year. As per the company it has recorded its highest-ever domestic quarterly sales of 22165 units, as against 18725 units for the same period last year, registered a growth of 18.4 percent. The company has a capacity to produce 300,000 units per annum.
Commenting on the growth Raman Mittal, executive director, Sonalika ITL, said, “Our domestic sale volumes were strengthened by a healthy monsoon this year, increasing awareness of mechanisation in increasing yield, and recent waiver on farm loans."
