Skoda opens new dealership in Patna, plans 5 more in eastern India

Czech carmaker aims to strengthen its position in Bihar, even as it eyes expansion in eastern India with five new dealerships over the next six months.

Skoda opens new dealership in Patna, plans 5 more in eastern India

Skoda Auto India today opened its newly designed 3S (Sales, Service and Spares) dealership, Bhoomi Cars, in Patna. The dealership sports the new corporate design and identity, which is part of the Czech automaker’s global redesigning process. Ashutosh Dixit, director-Sales, Service & Marketing, Skoda Auto India, and Rahul Kumar, dealer principal, inaugurated the showroom.

With the setting up of Bhoomi Cars, Skoda aims to further strengthen its position in Bihar and drive towards its expansion in eastern India by introducing five new dealership facilities over the next six months.

The new dealership, located at Bailey Road and covering 4,379 square feet, has a six-car display and has a service facility, located at Danapur Khagaul Road, Patna.

Commenting on the inauguration of the new facility,  Ashutosh Dixit said, "Through a refreshed model line-up and innovative customer service initiatives, we are focusing on strengthening the brand in India. With Bhoomi Cars in Patna, we will further affirm our presence in Bihar and commence our journey to create a strong footprint in the eastern markets. We plan to grow substantially in the region."

Skoda Auto India states it is in the process of revamping its entire dealer network which will entail manpower training, a customer-friendly layout and business processes along with a refreshed design. The company registered sales of 17,438 cars in 2017, up 30 percent over the previous year.
