Skoda Auto India opens its largest 3S facility, in Chennai

Inaugurated in collaboration with Gurudev Motors, an existing Skoda authorised dealer, the new facility is spread across 44,000 sq ft.

Skoda Auto India opens its largest 3S facility, in Chennai

Škoda Auto India has opened its largest 3S facility in the country in Chennai. Inaugurated in collaboration with Gurudev Motors, an existing Skoda authorised dealer, the new facility is spread across 44,000 sq ft. The two-level structure has an allocated 3,100 sq ft of display area, 3,750 sq ft of area for sales and 33,000 sq ft of service workshop with 35 bays and capable of servicing approximately 60 cars per day.

The facility also has an accessory zone, a training zone and exquisite lounges for customers, car owners and drivers.

Skoda already has a 3S facility in Chennai at Koyambedu, opened in 2008. The automaker later expanded its operations by started another sales & service facility at Trichy in 2009, followed by a Skoda workshop in Guindy in 2010 and yet another SSS facility in Vellore in 2011. All these Skoda facilities were started in collaboration with Gurudev Motors.
