The ‘MySkoda’ app gives the car owner access to the vehicle’s entire service history and provides an itemised billing record for every service interaction, among a host of features.

In a major move aimed at increasing customer satisfaction, Skoda Auto India, which is looking to digitise the entire ownership experience for customers, launched its ‘MySkoda‘ mobile application (app) today.

The MySkoda app is part of the carmaker’s Rs 100 crore investment in India towards improving the ownership experience.

The app, which provides a single-window interface between a Skoda customer and the brand, is aimed at facilitating transparency and providing a hassle-free ownership experience. It is available for download on the iTunes App Store for iPhone and Google Play store for Android devices.

The MySkoda app connects Skoda car owners with the company’s digital ecosystem and provides access to the entire service history of their vehicle. Importantly, the app will allow customers to know the cost of various parts and also estimate the cost of each service. The app will also host a number of other features including booking a service appointment, locating a dealer and connecting to the company’s  customer care team.

The app also assists Skoda owners to remotely monitor their car’s service cycle, warranty, insurance and road-side assistance expiry dates. They can also easily update their personal details, store important ownership-related documents, refer to previous jobs carried out on the car, receive important notifications while browsing through the app. Any update made through the app gets registered in the Skoda database.

“The digital age allows us to innovate and improve our interface with the customer. The new ‘MySkoda‘ app is a perfect testimony of the brand’s ‘Simply Clever’ philosphy where we have used technology to improve the overall experience with the brand. It also ensures that customers are well informed about all the details related to their car while facilitating a two-way communication with the brand. The app is designed around our customers’ requirements, assuring Skoda owners with features and information of their vehicles on the go,” said Ashutosh Dixit, director (Sales & Marketing), Skoda Auto India.
