Scooters help drive TVS sales up 4 percent in January
TVS Motor Co has reported total two-wheeler sales of 162,284 units, up 3.94 percent year on year
TVS Motor Co has reported total two-wheeler sales of 162,284 units, up 3.94 percent year on year (January 2014: 156,138 units). While scooter sales grew by 24 percent increasing to 56,032 units from 45,198 units in January 2014, motorcycle sales grew by 7 percent year on year, increasing to 69,949 units in January 2015 from 65,449 units in January 2014.
On the export front, the company shipped 19,232 units last month, compared to 23,438 units in January 2014.
