Sany India rolls out 1000th and 1001st machines from Chakan plant

While the 1000th machine is an excavator, the 1001st machine is a transit mixer. This production milestone has been achieved in a short span of nine months, from January-September 2016.

Sany India rolls out 1000th and 1001st machines from Chakan plant

Sany India, which manufactures construction, heavy machinery and renewable equipment, today rolled out the 1000th and 1001st machine from its plant in Chakan, Pune.

While the 1000th machine is an excavator, the 1001st machine is a transit mixer. This production milestone has been achieved in a short span of nine months, from January-September 2016.

Commenting on the rollout, Deepak Garg, CEO, Sany Heavy Industries, said, “This achievement reaffirms Sany’s commitment to the Indian market. We have witnessed an increase in demand for construction equipment machines and we are confident of catering to this demand.”

The 1001 machines manufactured at the plant during 2016 include excavators, transit mixers, truck- mounted cranes and batching plants.

Sany India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sany Heavy Industry Co Ltd (Sany Heavy Industry) which has its global headquarters in Changsha along with the Sany Group (SANY) headquarters.
