Renault opens fourth showroom in Bangalore
Bangalore, December 13, 2013: Renault India has further expanded its sales network today with the inauguration of Renault J P Nagar in Bangalore, its fourth in the garden city.
Bangalore, December 13, 2013: Renault India has further expanded its sales network today with the inauguration of Renault J P Nagar in Bangalore, its fourth in the garden city. The new showroom is spread across 5,000 square feet and is set up by Trident Auto Enterprise, one of the biggest automotive distribution groups in Bangalore, and associated with Renault since its entry into the Indian market in 2010. At present, Renault India’s dealer network covers 32 locations in South India and 118 nationwide.
Inaugurating the new dealership, Marc Nassif, managing director, Renault India, said, “Renault has been demonstrating a strong growth trend in India since its entry and our products have found widespread acceptance. We are very happy to launch our fourth dealership in Bangalore. We are firmly committed to India and will continue to expand our network.”
The carmaker sold 4,400 vehicles in November 2013, down 38 percent year on year. Its cumulative April-November 2013 sales totaled 40,386 units, an increase of 51 percent year on year. On the export front, the carmaker shipped 830 units last month and 10,302 units over the April-November 2013 period.
