Reinhold Würth India to hold employee training programme with IGTC

April 12: Bolts and fasteners manufacturer Reinhold Würth India has signed an MoU with the Indo-German Training Centre (IGTC) in Chennai to conduct a professional management training program for its employees.

The objective of this strategic alliance is to dynamically develop the employees of Reinhold Würth India and enable them to face the constant challenges of managing businesses and contributing their ideas and creativity to the organisation.

According to S Raj, regional director, Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, “We are extremely happy that the Würth Group has decided on partnering with us.” Under this agreement, IGTC, which is a training and education initiative of the IGCC, will offer a postgraduate programme in business administration (PGPBA). This is a basic two-year course with a specialisation in wholesale and foreign trade. Upon the successful completion of this programme, trainees of the company will be awarded a certificate by IGTC to that effect.

During the programme, students will be made to alternate between a month long training programme at the Reinhold Wurth India factory in Chennai and attend classes for a month at the IGTC. A total of 40 different subjects will be covered in the programme. The first batch of the programme commences in August 2012.
