Nissan Motors India has roped in Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor as its brand ambassador for the Micra.

Nissan Motors India has roped in Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor as its brand ambassador for the Micra. The company made this announcement at a function in Mumbai. A few weeks ago, the company began production of the Micra at its plant near Oragadam.

The first deliveries will commence in July. With the appointment of Kapoor, Nissan becomes the second Japanese car major to appoint a brand ambassador after Toyota Kirloskar Motor which roped in Aamir Khan for the Innova. Previous brand ambassadors in the passenger car segment include Sachin Tendulkar for the Palio and Shah Rukh Khan for the Santro.
