Mumbai, November 21, 2012: Porsche India, the official importer for Porsche cars in the country, has commenced its retail operations with deliveries of 117 cars in October 2012. Anil Reddi, director, Porsche India, said: “It has been a very exciting past six months for us at Porsche India and we are thrilled with the pace of our network expansion and new model launches in the country. Our first full month sales result in October is the best ever for the brand here. It sets us on course for a good rest of the year.”
Speaking about the current model line-up, Reddi adds: “I am pleased to announce the arrival of the new 911 Carrera, the seventh generation of this sports car icon, as well as the new Boxster S which was unveiled globally earlier this year. These iconic sports cars offer a winning combination of attributes – ranging from performance to efficiency and day-to-day usability – that has always been a trademark of Porsche."
In addition to the new sports cars, Porsche India also offers the Cayenne SUV and Panamera luxury Gran Turismo, both of which are available in a range of V6, V8 and turbo-charged V8 petrol engines as well as a V6 diesel engine.
