French carmaker, one of the last big global names, that is yet to enter India and which is currently looking for a site for a new plant, has clarified that the decision to this effect has not yet been taken.

Gregoire Olivier, member of the managing board and executive SVP for Asia, had met with Gujarat and well as Tamil Nadu state authorities over the last week but said no final decision has been arrived at. The company has said that that a plant in Andhra Pradesh is also an option. The clarifications were made after media reports suggested that it had selected Tamil Nadu as the site for its plant.
