Petrol price cut by Rs 2.16, diesel by Rs 2.10 a litre
With this, the price for a litre of petrol stands at Rs 65.32 in Delhi, Rs 68.21 in Kolkata, Rs 74.72 in Mumbai and Rs 68.26 in Chennai. Diesel now costs Rs 54.90 in Delhi, Rs 57.23 in Kolkata, Rs 60.47 in Mumbai and Rs 58.07 in Chennai.
Oil marketing companies have cut the price of petrol by Rs 2.16 a litre and that of diesel by Rs 2.10 a litre.

The latest revision in fuel prices follows the 1 paisa a litre hike in petrol and 44 paise a litre in diesel prices on May 1. A fortnight before that, on April 16, petrol prices were raised by Rs 1.39 per litre and diesel by Rs 1.04 a litre.
