New Rs 1150 crore order win for Ramkrishna Forgings

Ramkrishna Forgings has bagged a four-year export order worth Rs 1150 crore from a European Tier 1 supplier of new differential housing case business.

Lalit Khetan, Executive Director & CFO, Ramkrishna Forgings said, “It gives us great pleasure to announce the award of new Differential housing case business by one of the major global Tier 1 suppliers from Europe. The order win will assist us in taking forward our geographical diversification strategy and strengthen our European order book, By introducing new, high-quality products and moving up the value chain, we continue to diversify our product portfolio.”

This is the latest in the spree of orders that the component manufacturer has bagged this year. The company had earlier acquired a multi-year export order worth Rs 105 crore per annum from a US-Based leading manufacturer of chassis-related systems and components primarily for trailers as well as for trucks and buses in May. In March this year, it also bagged orders worth around Rs 70 crore from a US-based axle manufacturer for a light commercial vehicle (LCV) and will be for a period of over five years. 

Ramkrishna Forgings continues to be a major supplier to the Indian & overseas markets, with a key focus on various sectors like automotive, railways, farm equipment, bearings, oil & gas, power and construction etc.
