Mitsubishi Pajero Sport anniversary edition rolls out
July 16, 2013: A year after its launch in 2012, Mitsubishi Motors has rolled out an anniversary edition of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV, priced at Rs 23.56 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
July 16, 2013: A year after its launch in 2012, Mitsubishi Motors has rolled out an anniversary edition of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport SUV, priced at Rs 23.56 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Under a technical collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation of Japan, Hindustan Motors (HM) manufactures and markets Mitsubishi passenger vehicles like the Pajero Sport and Montero which are produced at the Thiruvallur plant, near Chennai.
The Pajero Sport Anniversary Edition gets new features including a touchscreen audio system with GPS navigation and rearview camera, sporty rear spoiler, body colour bumper and mudguard along with an anniversary edition emblem. Power comes from the 2.5-litre diesel engine which develops 175bhp and has a five-speed manual gearbox. It also comes with Mitsubishi’s Super-Select 4WD system which allows the driver to select 4WD and 2WD.
Uttam Bose, managing director and CEO, HM, said: “The launch of the Pajero Sport Anniversary Edition is a reflection of our customer-centric approach. To provide maximum value to customers, we have incorporated new features based on their feedback. Pajero Sport buyers are bound to feel the difference.”
HM, the flagship company of the CK Birla Group, continues to produce its key product, the Ambassador (1500cc and 2000cc diesel, 1800cc petrol, CNG and LPG variants), the 1-tonne payload mini-truck Winner LCV as well as auto components at its Uttarpara plant. The company also runs operations at Pithampur near Indore in Madhya Pradesh where it produces the Winner.
