Micromatic Machine Tools launches new high-speed DTC 400 XL

Micromatic Machine Tools launched the new high-speed Drill Tap Center DTC – 400 XL February 9 at its Technology Center in Peenya, Bangalore. DTC 400 XL is the latest contribution to Indian manufacturing from Ace Manufacturing Systems, the machining centre arm of machine tool manufacturer, the Ace Micromatic Group.

Dr S Devarajan, senior vice-president, TVS Motor Co, who was the chief guest, launched the new product in front of a large audience comprising manufacturing professionals from in and around Bangalore. He also shared with the audience, his vision and deep insight of manufacturing and machine tools and the importance of various aspects of TPM and lean manufacturing. Also present on the occasion were the managing director of Micromatic Grinding Technology, N K Dhand and managing director of AMS and current vice-president of IMTMA, P Ramadas and T K Ramesh, CEO of Micromatic Machine Tools.

The inaugural event ended with a vote of thanks from Sreekanteswar, general manager – market development & strategy with the assurance that the Ace Micromatic Group will continue developing new products to improve productivity and support Indian manufacturing in its vision of becoming globally competitive.
