MG Motor India claimed that it is taking all necessary steps to address the production and supply-chain issues and anticipates the situation to improve in the second half of 2022.
MG Motor India clocked retail sales of 4,503 units in June 2022, a tad higher than the 4,008 cars sold in May 2022. On a year-on-year basis too, the June numbers are higher than last year.
According to the company statement, the momentum in sales comes on the back of some ease in semiconductor availability, even though the outlook remains constrained in the wake of supply-chain roadblocks and persistent logistical headwinds. MG Motor India claimed that it is taking all necessary steps to address the production and supply-chain issues and anticipates the situation to improve in the second half of 2022.
The flagship brands, Hector and the all-new ZS EV continue to sees strong interest amongst buyers, with monthly bookings of over 4,000 and 1,000, respectively.
Driven by its vision of CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric) mobility, the automaker has augmented across-the-board ‘experiences’ within the automobile segment. It hopes to increase footfalls with the improved customer experience opportunities.
