Pursuing its strategic ’15 in 15’ programme for network expansion, Mercedes-Benz India inaugurated a new showroom called Akshaya Motors in Bangalore yesterday. It is the third showroom for Mercedes-Benz in Bangalore and the second showroom with Akshaya Motors.
Akshaya Motors, the new dealership, which is spread over 4,350 square feet, was inaugurated by Eberhard Kern, managing director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and MP Shyam, managing director, Akshaya Motors. With this inauguration, the company has expanded its dealership network to 73 outlets in 39 cities, the biggest for any luxury carmaker in the country.
According to Kern, “There is a growing customer base in Bangalore and adjoining markets comprising upwardly mobile prosperous individuals who have a taste for luxury and want their vehicles to suit their lifestyle. The second showroom of Akshaya Motors in Bangalore will be pivotal in catering to the increasing demand for Mercedes-Benz cars in this key market and is yet another instance of our ‘go to customer’ approach.”
The showroom, which has a team of 20 highly trained personnel, will market the entire range of Mercedes-Benz models.
Mercedes-Benz India also inaugurated its newly renovated state-of-art service outlet of Rajasree Motors in Trivandrum.
