Mercedes-Benz opens first dealership in Jharkhand

With 69 outlets in 38 cities, Mercedes-Benz has the densest network for any luxury car maker in the country. The carmaker will extend its presence to over 80 outlets by end 2015.

Mercedes-Benz inaugurated the first luxury car dealership of Jamshedpur, Tristar Motors. The automaker's first inauguration of the year kick starts the aggressive network expansion strategy for the Three Pointed Star. The new 3S luxury car destination is located at A-10, IInd Phase, Adityapur Kandra Main Road, Jamshedpur and was inaugurated by Eberhard Kern, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Ravi Parikh, Director, Tristar Motors.

This will be Mercedes-Benz’s most aggressive network expansion in a single year in India, and will continue to further expand the densest luxury car network for the India market.

Built over a period of 15 months with an investment of Rs. 10 crore, the outlet is spread over 40,000 sq. ft., and has a 9 car display. Apart from the showroom, the dealership also has a service facility featuring 12 service bays.
