Maruti to recall 1,492 cars
New Delhi, November 27, 2013: Maruti Suzuki India has said that it is recalling a total of 1,492 cars to inspect the steering column (Ertiga: 306 units, Swift: 592 units, Dzire: 581 units, A-star: 13 units), manufactured between October 19, 2013 and October 26, 2013.

New Delhi, November 27, 2013: Maruti Suzuki India has said that it is recalling a total of 1,492 cars to inspect the steering column (Ertiga: 306 units, Swift: 592 units, Dzire: 581 units, A-star: 13 units), manufactured between October 19, 2013 and October 26, 2013. If the steering column is found defective, the company will replace the steering column free of cost. The new steering column has been despatched to dealer workshops. This exercise, the company says, does not affect any of its exports.
Maruti Suzuki dealers will be contacting the owners of all vehicles affected in this recall.
