Mahindra’s Farm Division CEO Shubhabrata Saha quits

In another senior-level management change at Mahindra & Mahindra, Shubhabrata Saha, CEO of Mahindra’s Farm division has called it a day after spending almost two decades with the organisation.

Saha has held key leadership roles in the Farm Division, Mahindra First Choice Wheels (MFCW) and the Spares Business Unit (SBU). 

In his role as the CEO, Saha orchestrated new product launches, brand repositioning, better network coverage and increased volumes while ensuring a healthy financial performance. Mahindra says for the ongoing fiscal Hemant Sikka, president – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra will oversee the entire operations at the Farm division and drive the transformation agenda across the entire value chain of the division.

Furthermore, the company has appointed Kausalya Sreenivasan as the senior general manager – Business Transformation, Farm Division, Mahindra & Mahindra. 

Mahindra & Mahindra has outlined an aggressive growth roadmap for its farm equipment division. The company is betting big on the new ‘K2’ tractor series it is developing in collaboration with Mitsubishi of Japan. The K2 is Mahindra’s most ambitious lightweight tractor program and will be exclusively produced at the company’s tractor plant at Zaheerabad in the state of Telangana.The company plans to begin rolling out lightweight K2 Series tractors in 2023.
