Mahindra Two Wheelers has sold 18,953 units in the domestic market, a growth of 251 percent, albeit on the smaller number of 5,398 units sold in March 2013. The growth has been largely driven by sales of the Centuro commuter motorcycle.
Commenting on last month’s sales, Viren Popli, chief of operations, Mahindra Two Wheelers, said: “In 2014 we have doubled our volume backed by the successful launch of the Centuro and have introduced the new Centuro N1. Our sales and distribution network is also rapidly expanding across the country.”
At present, the manufacturer’s sales and service network comprises over 1,000 touch-points and it claims to be adding two new outlets every day.
