Mahindra Tractors launches India’s first CRDe tractor

Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has launched its first CRDe Tractor – the Arjun 605 MAT (Multi Application Tractor).

Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Jejurikar, chief executive, Tractor and Farm Mechanization Business, M&M, said: “At Mahindra, we have always pioneered products which increase farm productivity and enhance rural prosperity. We have been the first to introduce CRDe technology in tractors, which is usually present in an automobile. With the CRDe technology, the Arjun 605 MAT will deliver superior performance in high end applications for both agricultural and haulage use.”

CRDe technology is a modular, electronically controlled diesel fuel injection system which offers customers the benefit of better fuel efficiency and enhanced performance in all applications with varying load conditions. This technology gives the customer an improved driving experience with lower engine noise.

M&M says the customer can quickly identify faults through the on-board diagnostics system, which makes CRDe technology more robust and reliable. This technology is also environment-friendly as it surpasses all current emission norms.
