Lumax Industries to focus on BS VI products at the Auto Expo 2020

The overall theme of the Lumax DK Jain Group’s exhibit is 'Driving The Future'. The Group will be showcasing automotive lighting, two-wheeler chassis, seat structures and mechanism, integrated plastic modules, electricals and electronics, emission control, driveline, accessories, oxygen sensors, telematics products and services and aftermarket products.

The company, as expected, has a sharp focus on BS VI products at its 290-square metre stall in Hall No. 5 Stall No. 18. A company spokesperson says, “We have a range of product offerings for the OEMs, which are not only on display at the Auto Expo but we are also in discussion with the OEMs for those. We also have emission control products such as urea tanks for commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles to oxygen sensors for two-wheelers. There are a wide range of other products that will interest and benefit the OEMs.

Although the sentiment of the automotive industry is muted and subdued, Lumax is hopeful of having high traction of OEM visitors. “The industry is at the threshold of huge change and that will be showcased at the Auto Expo. We expect OEMs to visit and witness and view the product offerings from the domestic and the international component makers. A lot of our new product and technologies showcased will be first-time products that we wish to have a dialogue with the OEMs on and generate their interest for prospective business opportunities.

As regards the emergence of EVs and the impact on the IC engine parts industry, the company says: “EV adoption is not limited to designing and manufacturing, but the entire ecosystem that needs to be created, ensuring backward and forward integration. The government of India has a strong agenda towards clean and sustainable mobility and clearly highlighted that there is ample room for both ICE vehicles and EVs, to co-exist. Most of the auto sector investments in the near future are expected to be towards investing in advanced technologies in these new areas.”

Lumax Industries  is a strong votary of the Auto Expo. “Participation at such industry events provides a platform to showcase our efforts and newer technologies to the OEMs and present our capabilities, as also to understand their needs, which is important to design and develop technologically advanced products and services. All our product offerings can be showcased at one place for everyone to see and give an opportunity to build synergies and collaborate.”
