KSPG, a member of the Rheinmetall Group, Germany, is to exhibit new and forward-looking solutions for fuel and emission reduction at the Component Show 2016, New Delhi. The company will be located at the German Pavilion at Stand 2 in Hall 10.

The Group's Indian subsidiary, KSPG Automotive India operates two production plants, in Pune and Ahmednagar. Apart from plain bearings, bushes and thrust washers for cars and commercial vehicles, the plant manufactures components for emission control such as exhaust-gas flaps, exhaust-gas recirculation systems, valves and automotive pumps.

Its customers include Maruti Suzuki India, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Honda, Cummins as well as Kirloskar Oil Engines. The company also operates in the aftermarket.

KSPG AG says it sees the Auto Expo as a major platform for displaying its latest locally produced components to trade visitors along with new, future-oriented developments. According to Sascha Putz, CEO of the Bearings Business Unit, comments: "The platform is used not only by OEMs and engine manufacturers but also Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers. One of our core competencies being emphasised this year is to partner our customers in future efforts to reduce fuel consumption and address emission legislation such as the BS VI expected in India in 2020."

The exhibits include current engineering developments in air management and emission control on diesel and gasoline engines as well as the newest oil, coolant and vacuum pumps. The latter curb fuel consumption by operating on demand, that is depending on engine load. Also on view are very low-friction bearing coatings and models of zero-lead bearings; they, too, play a role in emission reduction.

Overall, fair visitors will gain an insight into the local Indian product line-up and how the close cooperation existing between the Group's German and international locations is efficiently practiced.
