Kansai Nerolac Paints has launched its new eco-friendly auto refinishing paint system at the Auto Expo. Called Retan PG Eco series, the new system is the latest car refinishing system launched in Japan. The system has low VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and enhances productivity by lowering the repainting time.

The product is now available in Asia and the Middle East. According to Virendra Gupta, general manager, automotive marketing, some of the properties of the news system include excellent appearance, high sharpness, high transparency (thanks to Hyper Dispersion Technology) and improved productivity for poor hiding colour.

The company’s Japanese principal is the leading supplier of 2K paints in Japan to body shops and carmakers who use it include Honda, Suzuki, Toyota and Nissan.
