JLR India begins sale of locally produced F-Pace petrol variant
Jaguar Land Rover India introduces locally manufactured, Model Year 2019 F-Pace Ingenium petrol in Pune.
Jaguar Land Rover India has announced the start of local manufacturing of the petrol variant of Jaguar’s first performance SUV, the F-Pace.
The vehicle available in the prestige-derivative is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder, 184 kW turbocharged Ingenium petrol engine. The locally manufactured model year 2019 F-Pace is priced at Rs 63.17 lakh (ex-showroom price in India).
Rohit Suri, president and MD, Jaguar Land Rover India (JLRIL), said: “In the two years since its launch in India, the Jaguar F-Pace has captivated the imagination of Jaguar fans and our discerning customers. With the launch of the locally manufactured Ingenium petrol derivative of the F-Pace, the appeal of our first Jaguar SUV is further enhanced.”
The company says the Jaguar F-Pace has been designed and engineered to offer higher agility, responsiveness and refinement. For 2019, the Jaguar F-Pace comes with a range of exciting features including park assist, lane keep assist, cabin air ionisation, driver condition monitor, 360-degree parking sensors, adaptive LED headlights, Wi-Fi hotspot & pro-services and 25.91 cm (10.2) touchscreen. Additionally, the Model Year 2019 gets illuminated metal treadplates, chrome switches for the 10-way seats, suede cloth headliner and bright metal pedals.
At present the Jaguar product portfolio in India includes XE (starting at Rs 39.73 lakh), XF (starting at Rs 49.58 lakh), F-Pace (starting at Rs 63.17 lakh), XJ (starting at Rs 1.10 crore) and F-Type (starting at Rs 90.93 Lakh). The company at present has 27 authorised outlets in India.
