JK Tyre launches off-road tyres for mining applications
The tyre, launched at the bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018, is called the ‘MINE Champion’ and claims the best load carrying capacity and casing strength.
JK Tyre & Industries today launched the 14.00-25 36 PR Mine Champion E4/L4 OTR tyre at the Bauma Conexpo India 2018 exhibition. The new premium tyre has specifically been developed for new-age tipper trucks and wheel loaders for mining applications.
Launched at the Bauma Conexpo 2018 that witnessed participation from over 700 exhibitors and over 40,000 business visitors, the product was unveiled by Rajiv Prasad, president- India Operations, JK Tyre & Industries, at the JK Tyre pavilion. Vikram Malhotra, marketing director, JK Tyre & Industries, was also present at the launch.
The company claims that the off-the-road (OTR) tyre called, ‘MINE Champion’ offers excellent strength and durability with its best-in-class load carrying capacity and casing strength. It comes equipped with a distinct tread pattern, developed using high-end computational simulations, thereby providing excellent traction, flushing and contact pressure distribution. It further claimed that the strong nylon construction provides excellent casing strength and reliability during rigorous applications and the new-age SILICA-based dual tread compound results in excellent cut resistance and cooler running, during hauling operations.
