India Yamaha Motor sells 42,990 units in August, up 57 percent

September 2, 2013: Yamaha Motor India Sales, the sales division of India Yamaha Motor, has reported sales of 42,990 units in August 2013 (August 2012: 27,297 units), recording a growth of 57.5 percent.

September 2, 2013: Yamaha Motor India Sales, the sales division of India Yamaha Motor, has reported sales of 42,990 units in August 2013 (August 2012: 27,297 units), recording a growth of 57.5 percent.

On the export front, the company sold 18,006 units in August 2013 (August 2012: 9,135 units), a growth of 97 percent.

The company currently has a wide portfolio comprising the Fazer (153cc), FZ-S (153cc), FZ (153cc), SZ-X, SZ-R and SZ-RR (153cc), YZF-R15 Version 2.0 (150cc), SS125 (123cc), YBR 125 (123cc), YBR 110 (106cc), Crux (106cc) and the Ray (113cc) and Ray Z (113cc) scooters. The imported bike portfolio includes the VMAX (1679cc), YZF-R1 (998cc) and FZ1 (998cc).
