India first global market to get new BMW Motorrad G 310 R and GS motorcycles

Pre-launch bookings for BS-VI avatars of the company’s best-sellers in India to open on September 1.

BMW Motorrad India will open pre-launch bookings for the new BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS – the two largest selling premium motorcycles from the BMW Motorrad stable in India from September 1, ahead of the official launch.

Bookings cabe be done at BMW Motorrad dealerships or an enquiry form filled online at www.bmw-motorrad.in. Deliveries will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis, says BMW Motorrad India.

According to Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India, “BMW Motorrad India has built a very robust position among motorcycling enthusiasts in India. With the BMW G 310 bikes, thousands of riding enthusiasts have entered the premium world of BMW Motorrad to explore riding in a completely different way. These two bikes offer a true BMW experience at competitive costs. Refined, redefined and reenergised, the BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS are now back in new BS-VI compliant variants. With the pre-launch bookings, customers and riding enthusiasts have a chance to secure the purchase ahead of the launch and be the first in the world to ride these new bikes on the roads.”

The BMW G 310 R and the BMW G 310 GS motorcycles have been driving the momentum for BMW Motorrad India with a share of over 85% in yearly sales.

 

While the G 310 R embodies the pure essence of a BMW roadster and offers dynamic performance and comfort on any road, the G 310 GS is a highly contemporary product with a level of versatility that is currently unrivalled in the segment. 

To facilitate purchase, BMW Financial Services India will offer customised and flexible financial solutions. Customers can also get their loans pre-approved before delivery takes place.

BMW Motorrad India officially started its operations as a part of the Indian subsidiary of BMW Group in 2017. The G 310 R and G 310 GS have been developed in Munich, Germany by BMW Motorrad and are locally-produced by cooperation partner TVS Motor Company in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. These two bikes among the German manufacturer’s most affordable models, and an entry into its two-wheeler world.

The range of BMW Motorrad motorcycles available in India as completely built-up units (CBU) include: Sport –S 1000 RR, R 1200 RS, HP4 RACE; Adventure –R 1250 GS, R 1250 GS Adventure, S 1000 XR, F 750 GS, F 850 GS; Roadster – S 1000 R, R 1200 R; Heritage –R nineT, R nineT Scrambler, R nineT Racer and Tour –R 1200 RT, K 1600 GTL and K 1600 B.

Pre-launch bookings can be done through the BMW Motorrad authorised dealer network, present across important centers in India including Delhi (Lutyens Motorrad), Mumbai (Navnit Motors), Pune (Bavaria Motors), Chennai (KUN Motorrad), Bengaluru (Tusker Motorrad), Ahmedabad (Gallops Autohaus), Kochi (EVM Autokraft), Hyderabad (JSP Motorrad), Indore (Munich Motors), Lucknow (Speed Motors), Chandigarh (Krishna Automobiles), Jaipur (Pratap Motorrad), Raipur (Munich Motors), Cuttack (OSL Prestige) and Ranchi (Titanium Autos)
