Hyundai Motor India wins ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ and ‘Smart Factory’ awards from Frost & Sullivan
Hyundai Motor India has won the ‘Indian Manufacturer of the Year 2019’ for World Class Manufacturing and ‘Smart Factory Award’ for IOT readiness and Production Excellence from Frost & Sullivan at the India Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2019.
Hyundai Motor India has won the ‘Indian Manufacturer of the Year 2019’ for world-class manufacturing and ‘Smart Factory Award’ for IoT readiness and production excellence from Frost & Sullivan at the India Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2019. Hyundai says that this is the third time it has been conferred with this award.
According to Frost & Sullivan, out of 94 companies who participated in the first-level qualification, 78 companies underwent site assessment by the organisers, from which the winners were selected. Frost & Sullivan claims that the assessment process was carried out at Hyundai Motor India's production facility for 3-4 days.

Frost & Sullivan is a business consulting firm involved in market research and analysis, growth strategy consulting and corporate training across multiple industries. The company claims to be in partnership with over 1,000 companies globally.
Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has 502 dealers and more than 1,324 service points across India, and at present also exports to around 91 countries.
