Hyundai, like Maruti Suzuki, is riding the SUV boom in India and the Creta is making the most of surging consumer demand.
Hyundai Motor India has reported domestic sales of 42,327 units, a year-on-year growth of 4 percent (February 2016: 40,716) and exports of 10,407 units with cumulative sales of 52,734 units for the month of February 2017.
Commenting on the sales performance, Rakesh Srivastava, senior vice-president - Sales & Marketing, said: “The Creta recorded all-time highest ever sales of 9,002 units. Domestic sales growth of 4 percent is due to increased customer visits and conversions on the strength of improved customer confidence generated by the Union Budget.”
