Hyundai Motor India extends brand partnership with Shah Rukh Khan till April 2019

Right from the launch of the Santro, the Korean carmaker has had a longstanding brand partnership with the leading actor.

Hyundai Motor India has announced it has extended enduring 19-year-old association with actor Shah Rukh Khan as its corporate brand ambassador. The brand extension is for a two-year period, from April 2017 till April 2019. 

Speaking on the association, YK Koo, MD and CEO, Hyundai Motor India, “Shah Rukh Khan is one of the first ‘Hyundai Family Members’ and has played a key role in the success of the Santro since our inception in India. Hyundai’s association with Shah Rukh Khan has enhanced and propagated our brand values. Shah Rukh Khan has a very strong image of a family person and represents strong family values. We are extremely happy to continue this two-decade-long association and are confident that it will further strengthen Hyundai’s brand image in India.”

Shah Rukh Khan said: “It has been a really wonderful journey with Hyundai as we complete 19 years of a fruitful association. It has always been a delight to be with a modern premium car brand. It’s been very satisfying in terms of association as a brand ambassador with Hyundai.”
