Hyundai’s domestic sales in March up by 3.38 percent
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has registered domestic sales of 35,003 units for March 2014, a flat 3.38 percent growth over year-ago sales (March 2013: 33,858 units).

Commenting on the sales during March 2014, Rakesh Srivastava, senior vice-president - sales and marketing, HMIL, said, “Afer the reduction of excise duty and with the strong performance in the compact car segment, Hyundai has registered a growth of 3.4 percent over March 2013, which indicates a build-up of positive momentum.”
HMIL sells 10 car models across segments. In the A2 segment, it has the Eon, Santro, i10, Grand, i20 and Xcent; A3 (Verna); A4 (Elantra) and A5 (Sonata) and the all-new Santa Fe SUV
On the export front, the carmaker saw a decline of 26 percent – 16,705 units in March 2014 (March 2013: 22,579).
