Honda 2Wheelers India and Shell launch co-branded engine oil
The new range of engine oil is claimed to provide improved pick-up and acceleration, better fuel economy, engine protection in high temperatures and smoother gearshifts.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India and Shell Lubricants, the global market leader in finished products, have joined hands in in a strategic partnership to launch a new range of engine oil for two-wheelers. The new range is specially formulated with Shell’s technological now-how matched to Honda’s advanced vehicular blueprint.
The new range of engine oils is claimed to provide enhanced benefits like improved pick-up and acceleration, better fuel economy, engine protection in high temperatures and smoother gear shifting, enabling smooth rides in challenging riding conditions.
Speaking on the collaboration, Pradeep Kumar Pandey, senior vice-president - Customer Service, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “Honda has collaborated with Shell Lubricants India to ensure superior riding experiences. We look forward to enhancing the collaborations in the future to set new benchmarks for the Indian two-wheeler industry.”

The new range of Shell lubricants for Honda two-wheelers will be available in 0.8-litre, 0.9-litre and 1-litre packs.
In what seems to be strategic move on the part of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, the two-wheeler major had on August 5 partnered with Castrol India for the Castrol Activ Honda engine oil range for its two-wheelers.
