HMSI launches 2013 Dream Yuga with HET

HMSI launches 2013 Dream Yuga with HET

New Delhi, June 20, 2013: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced a new 2013 edition of the 110cc Dream Yuga commuter motorcycle. This model comes with equipped with Honda Eco Technology (HET) which has helped increase the bike’s fuel efficiency from 72 kilometres per litre to 74kpl, as tested by HMSI. Pricing though remains the same as the Dream Yuga -- Rs 45,101 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

HET, which has also gone on the trio of scooters (Activa, Aviator and Dio) and the recently launched 109cc Dream Neo bike, reduces friction, improves combustion and helps improve mileage. The new Dream Yuga will be on sale in three variants (Kick-start/Drums/Spoke, Kickstart/ Drum/Alloy and Self-start/ Drum/Alloy) with five colour options.

Since its introduction in May 2012, the Dream Yuga has notched good number for the manufacturer. “The Dream Yuga has sold 300,000 units within the first year of its launch. We are delighted to provide superior HET technology to our customers at the same price of Rs 45,101. We are confident that Dream Yuga with our revolutionary technology will create a new benchmark for mass mobility in India,” said Yadvinder S Guleria, vice-president – sales & marketing, HMSI.
