Hero MotoCorp has given a refresh to its 125cc gearless scooter – the Hero Maestro Edge. The new Maestro Edge 125 has been launched in three variants with prices ranging between Rs 72,250 for the drum-brake version and Rs 79,750 ex-showroom, Delhi for the new variant with connected technology.

The scooter gets enhanced styling compared to the outgoing model with modern elements such as a segment-first projector LED headlamp and a dual-tone stripe pattern on the body panels. The high-tech bits include a fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation support along with compatibility with the Hero Connect app.

With this mobile application, owners will be able to access a few more features like topple alert, theft alert and vehicle tracking.

The scooter comes powered by the same 124.6cc, BS VI-compliant, fuel-injected engine that produces 9hp and 10.4Nm of peak torque.

According to Malo Le Masson, head of strategy and global product planning, Hero MotoCorp, “The Maestro Edge 125 has been a key player in the 125cc scooter segment. In this latest avatar, we have sharpened its ‘Edge’ further with LED projector headlamp, digital speedometer, turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. These upgrades are part of our overall portfolio push to provide more technology and features to our customers."

The new Maestro Edge 125 will also be offered with two new colours – prismatic yellow and prismatic purple.
