Gulf Oil and Swaraj Tractors develop new engine oil

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd (GOLIL), and the Mahindra Group-owned Swaraj Tractors have developed and introduced a  high-quality, high-performance ‘long drain’ engine oil for the tractor segment in India. As per the agreement, Swaraj-Gulf co-branded engine oils, manufactured using superior quality Group III base oils, would be made available in retail and spare part outlets in the bazaar segment across India under the Gulf XHD S Tractor brand name.

According to Ravi Chawla, managing director, Gulf Oil Lubricants India, said, “Gulf Oil’s and Swaraj Tractors’ tie-up for the tractor segment is another major step for us leading to jointly providing a value added lubricant solution to Swaraj tractor owners. This is also in line with our strategy to focus on OEM tie-ups to become one of the top three lubricant brands in the industry.

Commenting on the partnership, Rajeev Rellan, vice-president (Sales & Customer Care) for Swaraj Tractors, said: “We are extremely pleased with this partnership as Gulf Oil is one of the leading players in the oil business and has the ability to reach to every corner of market through their vast distribution network.”
