Gulf Oil Lubricants India (Gulf Oil), a leading lubricant manufacturer today announced that it has renewed its strategic partnership with Bajaj Auto for three years.

The agreement has been extended to manufacture exclusive, Bajaj Genuine Engine oils for Bajaj two-wheelers. Gulf Oil says it is already supplying lubricants for Bajaj Auto’s international markets across more than 20 countries.

The agreement was signed by Sarang Kanade, president Motorcycle Business Unit, Bajaj Auto and Ravi Chawla, MD, Gulf Oil Lubricants India in Pune.

According to the agreement Gulf Oil will continue to distribute genuine oil to Bajaj auto’s distributor network, as well in its own dealer network and Gulf Rural Stockist program in rural areas. The lubricant maker says it has been able to use its channel to substantially increase the presence of Bajaj Genuine Oils in more than 15,000 outlets and grow the business consistently.

Ravi Chawla said, “I am glad to renew the agreement with Bajaj Auto. Our association with the brand started in 2016. This was our first OEM association in the two-wheeler category that helped us grow further in motorcycle oils where we already had a strong presence in the ‘Bazaar’ segment. The extension of agreement further demonstrates our commitment to deliver the highest quality products and services that add value to our clients.”

Sarang Kanade said, “We are glad to extend our partnership with Gulf Oil. Its best in class R&D setup and manufacturing facilities in India and superior distribution network has enabled the product being available PAN India, and consistently provide greater value to our channel partners as well as consumers.”

At present, Gulf Oil has established partnerships with multiple OEMs and also provides customised products for the domestic market with its automotive and industrial lubricants.
