The tie-up will also see Gulf Oil distribute these lubricants in Bajaj Auto’s dealer network as well as tap into the market through its dealer network and Gulf Rural Stockist program in rural areas.
Bajaj Auto has entered into a strategic alliance with Gulf Oil Lubricants India, a Hinduja Group company under which Gulf will manufacture Bajaj Genuine Oil in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
The tie-up will also see Gulf Oil distribute these lubricants in Bajaj Auto’s dealer network as well as tap into the market through its dealer network and Gulf Rural Stockist program in rural areas.
Commenting on the partnership, Ravi Chawla, MD, Gulf Oil Lubricants India said: “We are happy to be associated with Bajaj. This association, our first OEM tie-up in the two-wheeler segment, will help us grow further in the motorcycle oil segment where we already have a strong presence in the ‘Bazaar’ and also provide a platform to increase the reach of the Bajaj Genuine Oil in the markets.”
Available in two variants, 10W-30 (for bikes up to 100 cc) & 20W-50 (for bikes above 100 cc), the Motor Cycle Oil (MCO) will be applicable for CT, Platina, Discover, Pulsar, Avenger and V models of Bajaj Auto.
