GM India expands its sales network in Assam

Earlier this month, General Motors India inaugurated a new dealership in Assam, Malhotra Chevrolet, increasing its reach to 9 sales outlets and 9 service facilities. In all, GM India now has 219 sales points and 248 service outlets across the country. Malhotra Chevrolet is a 3S facility integrating sales, service and spares to cater to the needs of the customers in the region.

Commenting on the new dealership, GM India said in a statement, “We have opened the new dealership in the wake of the increasing popularity of Chevrolet vehicles in Guwahati. The facility will be headed by Rohit Malhotra and Yogesh Malhotra, who are recognised as a prominent business leader with strong credentials in the state. We are confident that under his able leadership and guidance, the dealership will set new benchmark in sales, service and customer satisfaction.”

The 3S facility will provide a wide range of accessories and top-of-the-line support to the customers. In order to provide a high quality service experience to its customers, a team of highly trained and equipped engineers will always be available at the workshop with the latest garage tools, state of the art diagnostic equipment and computerised facilities for attending to the needs of customers in the region.

GM India has in the recent past introduced a number of industry-first programmes including the recently introduced Chevrolet Complete Care programme. This includes the Chevrolet Promise – assured low cost of maintenance, Exclusive Warranty packages, Chevrolet U-First Customer Centric Programs and Apps and a Round-the-clock 24x7 Roadside Assistance Program which is free for 3 years with all new car purchases. Roadside Assistance package is also available for existing customers at a nominal cost provided the vehicle is not more than 5 years old.

GM India has also developed digital applications such as the Chevrolet Service Estimator Online tool available on the Chevrolet India website, which helps calculate periodic service costs, and the MyChevroletIndia mobile application, which helps locate and contact the nearest authorised Chevrolet service station.
