Fuel Delivery start-up begins operations in Pune
Pune latest market after Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Bangalore; claims to have delivered over 2 million litres of diesel since launch
The Fuel Delivery has launched its operations in Pune, which becomes its fourth market after Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Bangalore. The company aims to deliver high-quality, pilferage-free diesel to diverse sectors including infrastructure development, hospitality and healthcare, corporate offices and IT parks, manufacturing and industries, shopping malls, warehouses, agriculture and mining machinery.
According to Rakshit Mathur, founder and CEO, The Fuel Delivery, “Pune is an important market for us due to tremendous surge in fuel demand due to the presence of several manufacturing facilities. This is our second market in Maharashtra after Mumbai, wherein we started our operations earlier this year. TFD is committed to providing high-quality diesel at the doorstep.”
Since its inception, The Fuel Delivery claims to have delivered over 2 million litres of diesel across industries like real estate, hospitality, retail, logistics and warehousing and agriculture. Its current clientele is 128 customers across segments and expects to reach the 200 mark by end-March 2022. The start-up has raised seed funding of around US$ 1 million and is planning for Series –A funding of $5 million.
The Fuel Delivery plans to expand in a phased manner to key markets like Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chennai and Kolkata in the next 12 to 18 months. The company leverages IoT for its mobile app. All the delivery vehicles are enabled with an IoT solution that allows real-time monitoring and tracking, seamless logistics management and reduced order fulfilment time.
