Ford India sees 22 percent growth in September
Ford India sold 22,428 vehicles in combined domestic wholesales and exports in September, compared to 13,742 vehicles in the corresponding month last year.

September domestic wholesales stood at 8,274 vehicles against 6,786 units in the same month last year, while exports were 14,154 vehicles compared to 6,956 units in September 2014.

Available in across 6 trims with 3 engine options and 7 colours, the all-new Figo introduced raises the bar in India’s fast-growing compact car segment with its clever value-for-money proposition and host of segment best and first-in-segment features like MyFord Dock, SYNC with Ford AppLink.
The new Figo comes to market with best-in-class wheelbase of 2,491 mm, offering outstanding legroom, knee room and shoulder-room along with class leading Ground-Clearance of 174 mm. The all-new Figo comes equipped with standard driver airbag across all trims and is the only hatchback to offer up to six airbags for an all-around protection
Deepening its commitment to India, Ford confirmed new investment dedicated towards expanding operations in Tamil Nadu. Adding to previous recent investment in India of US$2 billion, this new investment will be dedicated towards future capacity expansion at the Ford Chennai Plant and the establishment of a new global engineering and technology center.
Ford also strengthened its commitment to enrich brand and ownership experience by inaugurating its sales and service outlets in Ooty and Indore. The company also expanded the retail distribution of Ford Genuine parts to Karnataka and Kerala.
