Force Motors, known for its Trax brand, will reveal its strategy and name of its new SUV on 23 June 2011. The company hopes this vehicle, its first in the SUV segment, will be a game-changer for it. The SUV will take on the Mahindra Scorpio and the Tata Safari. It is believed that the SUV is based on the Chinese Foday Guangdong Explorer 111.

Under the hood, the SUV will have a 2.2-litre common-rail turbo-diesel that powered the W210 E-class when it was launched in 2000. The ride and handling of the new SUV has been tuned by Lotus.
