Fiat India opens dealership at Faridabad

Delhi, 31 October 2013: Fiat Group Automobiles India has inaugurated a dealership at Faridabad in Haryana. Managed by DRS Motors, the new outlet has an area of 2,650 square feet that can display four cars, and a 7,000 sq ft workshop.

Delhi, 31 October 2013: Fiat Group Automobiles India has inaugurated a dealership at Faridabad in Haryana. Managed by DRS Motors, the new outlet has an area of 2,650 square feet that can display four cars, and a 7,000 sq ft workshop.

Ravi Bhatia, vice president, Fiat Group Automobiles India who inaugurated the dealership said: “Fiat India views Faridabad as a very strategic market and this exclusive dealership is in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential. With DRS Motors, we are associated with a partner who has over 20 years of experience and market knowledge of the automobile trade.”

Fiat India is aggressively focussing on increasing its footprint in India and this launch is in continuation of its rapid expansion strategy. The carmaker has launched 80 exclusive dealerships and is planning to take the number to 00 by the end of the year.

S Mohanty, Director, DRS Motors said: “Fiat cars are prominent all over India for their aesthetic design and their engineering superiority. We are extremely proud to become exclusive dealers of Fiat Group Automobiles India in Guwahati and with an experienced management team and well trained technicians.”

The dealership exclusively caters to Fiat India and will retail its two existing models the Linea and Punto along with a series of new launches slated to hit the country in the coming years.

Fiat India is close to launching its first products from the Chrysler stable which include the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler that will be brought in as CBUs.
